Another of SKDUN free monthly seminars, open to all karate-ka. Two hours training with the Technical director of SKDUN, sensei Colin Putt 8th Dan (JSKF, SKDUN) from England, and Senior instructor sensei Latchezar Nenov 6th Dan (IJKA).
Latchezar Nenov sensei is well known for his excellent teaching skills, he is a member of the Technical committee where he represents Asai Ryu.
Colin Putt sensei will be taking the second part of the sessions from 10:30 to 11:30. We will concentrate on Kata standards and refereeing criteria for kumite in competition and Dan grading.
This is a unique opportunity for all members to train with some of the best Shotokan Karate Instructors in the SKDUN. Sessions are designed to give you the standards and criteria that Referees and Judges will use to score competitors technique in competition, it is an opportunity to standardise the kata we teach which is, in principle, JKA Nakayama karate, not prescriptive but considering the various techniques that are acceptable and valid.
These sessions are a must for Technical committee members, Referee committee members, All referees and
judges and coaches. Competitors will also benefit hugely from this knowledge.
