Dan grading rules:

Application can be made by any SKDUN member. The gradings are usually held on a gasshuku at the European and World championships (April, October). SKDUN/JKA rules for gradings apply (time between gradings). Applicants must obtain their instructor’s written permisson for grading. Passport photo and last three grading certificates also required. To be submitted (uploaded) with the online application.

Dan grading fees (examination):

  • Shodan €60
  • Nidan €80
  • Sandan €140
  • Yondan €190
  • Godan €220
  • Rokudan €350
  • Nanadan €450
  • Hachidan €600
  • Administrative fee including dan grade diploma €30 for all grades
