Dream of every Karate instructor, Burned

10660480_629597860490334_218689146_nIt is a dream of every karate instructor – to have his/her own dojo. It took sensei Anton Vandev from Bulgaria 7 years to fulfill his dream. With help from his father and students, he started building it at the bottom of his garden, bit by bit as time and money allowed, with traditional 10681831_629597920490328_969951904_nwooden floor and he even hand carved a bannister leading up to the small office upstairs. When sensei Colin Putt and I visited him in May, it was not quite finished, but already looking very impressive. It was to be used for his regular club trainings and also for seminars and courses. The Dojo opened in June and only few sessions were held there before it was completely destroyed by fire.
